In order to create my TPACK video I first needed to really think about TPACK and how it fit together with what I know, what I want my students to know and what is the best way to get them to learn.

I work mostly with students who are acquiring language and have spent a lot of time to get conceptual meaning across to them when the words just are not there.

As technology has become more powerful and more varied, its use has created many more doors that can be opened by me or my students when we are trying to access new information.

I decided to show a tool that I have been using for a while, one that I began using this past year, and one that I just discovered and am looking forward to using with my students this year.

I had to upload my finished video to Youtube so I could link it to this website.  Although I have a Youtube account, I had never uploaded anything before.  The process of thinking about and creating this video helped me realize that I have been incorporating TPACK in my teaching without really thinking about it.  Now, I need to use it purposefully.
